Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information:

• Account information: Email address and authentication credentials via Clerk
• Profile content: Knowledge blocks, personas, and other content you create on Anchor
• Usage data: Profile views, export requests, and basic analytics about how you use the service
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe; we do not store credit card numbers

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Anchor service
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Generate your public profile exports (/:handle/short, /:handle/full, /:handle/json)
• Send transactional emails (account notifications, billing)
• Detect and prevent abuse or violations of our terms

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in our PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon (a division of Flexera). We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption of sensitive data. Your API tokens are hashed before storage and cannot be recovered once created.

4. Cookies & Analytics

We use minimal cookies (session management only). We may use analytics services to understand how users interact with Anchor. These services collect standard web log data (IP address, pages visited, browser type) but do not track you across third-party websites.

5. AI & Model Training

However, please note: When you share your Anchor export URLs (/:handle/short, /:handle/full, /:handle/json) with third-party AI services (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini), your content is submitted directly to those third-party providers. CallCircle LLC cannot guarantee how those third-party AI model providers handle your data once it is submitted to their platforms.

If you share your Anchor export with any AI service, you should review that service's own privacy policy. Anchor's privacy policy only covers data that flows through our own systems.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Clerk: Authentication and user identity management
• Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management
• Neon (Flexera): Database hosting
• OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (or others): AI model providers — only when you voluntarily share your profile export URLs with them

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: Export your full profile data as JSON at any time from your dashboard
• Delete: Delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us
• Correct: Update or modify your profile content at any time

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, we delete your account data within 30 days. Analytics data that cannot be linked to individual users may be retained indefinitely.

9. Children's Privacy

Anchor is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
